Was Bob the drummer on Ooh Ooh Child by The Five Stairsteps? It sounds very much like his style and I have always loved his work.

Hello Tommy! Thank you for your kind words about Bob. Bob is one of the finest people I ever interviewed. He is funny, passionate and so down to earth. But what is the most inspirational about Bob is that while he has not had the easiest life, he stays so optimistic and positive. I know that I was blessed to have encountered him, and to let the world know what happened to him and that he is still alive and out there.

Bob Crowder is a very special human being. Missing in this article is the influence on so many musicians in the world. On the Chicago music scene, Bob had a presence that I will never forget. I will always remember the band rehearsals in the basement of "Granny's house.I was with Bob when his son passed away and we left Chicago and drove overtime to New York City. His humanity is what keeps mankind compassionate and creates meaningful
